Hi family and friends!
I’m excited to announce that I’m embarking on a new journey, to become an esthetician. I plan to attend Aveda Institute, in Charlotte NC.
Beauty has been my passion since early adolescence, even at the risk of punishment by my mother, for sneaking and wearing it, without her permission (and too young, by her opinion) lol.
I’m not one to ask for help really, and for me, this is a hard ask. But I know that by faith, we have not because we ask not.
I’m trying to rebuild my life and regain my independence, after birthing my second son. Those that are parents, I’m sure can relate to how the sacrifices we make for our children, in pregnancy, childbirth, and child rearing, can derail life as it once was.
Childcare expenses and a remaining tuition balance (after FAFSA distribution), are the only barriers that stand between me getting the education I need, to step into the career field of my dreams, and being able to provide for my children, consistently again.
I have until February 2026 to come up with the money needed, to attend the next training (around 5 months long) and to secure childcare, while I attend.
So I ask if you’re able to help me and whatever help you can offer, even if it’s just prayer, and encouragement, will be greatly appreciated!
