If you know the Browns, you know they are a family who faithfully says “yes” when the Lord calls.
This week, that “yes” came in the form of a vulnerable mother from Africa who is new to the United States. She is currently living in a shelter with her five-year-old son after walking through a story marked by deep injustice and hardship.
The Browns have felt a clear prompting from the Lord to open their home to her and her children for as long as needed. This week, they will welcome this mama and her son into their home — and prayerfully, her two other young children will join them as well.
As you can imagine, there will be significant financial needs in this season. Expenses will include food, clothing, furniture, immigration-related costs, and eventually helping this mom take steps toward rebuilding and restarting her life.
This is an opportunity for us to surround the Browns and this precious family with tangible love and support. If you feel led to give, any amount will make a meaningful difference.
Most importantly, please pray — for the Browns as they open their home, and for this sweet mama and her children as they step into safety, stability, and hope.
