CALLING ALL THE FUR MOMMIES AND DADDIES OUT THERE!
[posting for a dear friend and her pup my wife and I have known more than 10 yrs. RD]
Hi my name is Joy and I’ve been working here in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for almost 14 years now. My years of living in Cambodia have been joyful thanks to the company of a very special companion, Coco, a tiny 10 year old Mini Pinscher (minpin) dog.
Coco is a very special little guy. He’s a brave rescue that survived a traumatizing event in his early years. As a young pup, he was poisoned by an ill-hearted person. This put Coco in a very bad condition, but the little guy never gave up. He has severe neurological damage, he lost his sense of balance and coordination. If you see him today, you’ll see him stumbling and falling, but he always gets up and continues with such a sweet disposition. He’s such a fighter and my inspiration!
Coco is family. Aside from average senior dog issues, he needs special attention and care to survive. This is why I seek kind-hearted souls to help me bring Coco home with me to the Philippines when I complete my work here in a few months. He will have a loving and supportive home there with my family and I.
However, the cost of flying a companion pet with special care has gotten very expensive. And as much as I would like to shoulder it myself, the fees add up to more than I can handle myself during this pandemic with my own travel and relocation costs. Shipping a live dog to the Philippines cost $2250, that is not including all the medical requirements that I have paid already [Note: that is just Phnom Penh to Manila, then she still has to figure out Manila to her home in Bacolod city. RD].
So I call on your kind hearts to help me fund Coco’s travel to the Philippines so I can continue to care for this brave little boy.
Help me #BringCocoToThePhilippines, so I can continue taking care of him and ensure a beautiful and happy life that he deserves. If you have questions you can contact Robert at: Robdeutsch44@gmail.com; or me directly at: Iamjuva@gmail.com.
Thank you very much for your time and help!
