We are excited to announce that our fourth home project is underway!
Beginning on March 15, 2022, we will assume the management of a home for a member of The Creatives on Campus Collective, Tate Townsend.
Tate purchased his home in October 2021. In expectation of a baby boy, Tate and his girlfriend, Lindsay settled on a beautiful home in West Deptford, NJ.
Only 2 weeks of being in the home, Tate's son, Saint Nehemiah was born. Life for Lindsay & Tate would change almost instantly as they watched their premie baby boy suffer through a series of developmental & respiratory medical challenges.
Committed to the journey, Tate & Lindsay have sacrificed their time, Lindsay's full-time job, and much sleep to care for their son around the clock - much of that care happening from a hospital bedside at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
To provide the best care for their son, and to benefit from the direct care support of Lindsay's family, they have made the hard decision to temporarily relocate to Philadelphia, PA.
Until they are able to safely bring Saint home, the Lost in the City with Creatives on Campus team will step in to manage the home, converting it into a healing house for creatives and emerging leading learners. We count it an honor to steward the home and serve in proxy to financially support Tate with the upkeep of his mortgage, utilities, and a financial gift of $100,000 to assist with the medical bills, loss of income, and anticipated & unexpected challenges up ahead.
PLEASE support us as we support Tate, Lindsay, Saint, and the creative makers, leading learners, and program collaborators who will now benefit from having a co-operative space to call home.
