Lily received a phone call yesterday that her dad was found dead in his semi truck in New Jersey. This was devastating and overwhelming as you can imagine :-(
Lily has been a huge part of our family as she dated little Trav for 3 years. She has been a part of our family and we have grown to love her like our own daughter. She moved to Michigan with us last fall and lives with us currently. Lily is one of the most selfless people I have ever met. She puts others needs first and she will not ask for help. She works hard in all things!
When I cared for my mom and dad during their last days Lily was there every moment. She slept in the living room with me and relieved me during the sleepless nights. She jumped right in caring for them just as if they were her own parents. I can not say enough good about her.
Lily is now put in a position of taking care of some really hard financial decisions. She also needs to go to Washington State to tell her little sister Bella who is 16 of their dad's passing. As many of you know Lily has been on her own since she was 17. There are so many costs involved and I know she worries about how this will all work out. Many of you love her and know her. Would you consider helping this precious girl feel loved and cared for.? This is a hard time and I want to take any extra stress off from her that I can. Thank you all and keep her in your prayers as we navigate these coming days with lots of travel and decisions to be made. I would love for her to feel overwhelmed with the generosity and love of others!!
