Our Sweet son Geoffrey Gropp Or who we call Bubba has been in the fight of his life since he was 18 he was diagnosed with severe epilepsy and it has been a struggle to just be healthy and live the best life that he can! He fights every day to survive this disease that's a terrible terrible disease and he is our hero he goes to so many doctors appointments does so many tests and different things and On  top of that he takes terrible medicines , Medicines that make him sick that make him not be able to eat not be able to sleep and he has grand mal seizures and he also has clusters of seizures which means he has multiples in one setting or one day !And yet he never complains we now about to have brain surgery DBS done What is the surgery it's very very long and we hope gives him a better chance at a better life that's something we know we have to do because we have exhausted all other measures but it comes with its own Risks , We have to do something as he suffers every single day he also has no memory of the seizures and we as a family suffer along with him his surgery is about a day long and then he would be in the hospital  for upwards of a day to two days! And then he will have a long recovery at home on which I his mother and caregiver Will be taking care of him but it also means I have to miss work a lot of work actually almost 12 days and asked to be able to survive without having my income is extremely hard as I'm sure people can imagine! So we are asking for people that would like to donate to help us so that we can give Jeffrey the best care and I can be with him every step of the way and we hope that y'all will help us fight this fight , epilepsy is a terrible terrible disease! This surgery is our only hope right now our only chance at some kind of better life for him and for our family so we hope you will join us I donating even one dollar goes along way more than you think! Oh I must also say he also was diagnosed with nutcracker syndrome he has severe pain to Sides and back  constantly never ending pain , that's literally will make him stand up because he can't stand to sit down it's so painful. And to know a story should also know that we are literally back at square one with the pain I have no idea where it's coming from they don't think it's from the nutcracker so we're back at square one. He also has Low kidney function! All these things and he still fights and worries about how we pay for things and worries About that he can't support himself  or anybody else or even help support himself! He also worries constantly about his brother and everybody else except for himself because he never complains not even once.And I don't think he'll ever give up I am not sure if I was in his place it I would be so strong. So please show him that so many people love him and just give you anything you can get so that we can do and give him the best care that he needs help us fight this fight! Oh and I forgot to tell you that the surgery will be on October 28 it's an all day surgery literally him and then he will stay overnight one extra day I believe and then he will come home in his care will begin at home and  his recovery! We really do appreciate all the support we know that times are tough right now and asking if anybody is not our normal thing we usually are very independent and we accomplish all that Hass to be done on our own but unfortunately this is really the fight that we were not Prepared for and missing work certainly will take a toll on our income and support shall we greatly appreciate anything and all that you can give and we will come here and give it updates as soon as we have them in on Facebook as well so thank you and God bless all!!!🙏🏼
