This is our baby girl Rattles a few months ago.
This is an emergency situation, they said the eye needs to be removed asap. Literally as fast as we can make it happen.
We are all about transparency, we will share all her estimates, bills, records, anything you need.
Rattles is a survivor. Born with a deformity that causes her to aspirate her food as she eats it, she suffers minutes-long sneezing fits after every meal while food comes out her nose, but shes always soldiered through.
Unfortunately, her deformity causes frequent upper respiratory infections, and this most recent bout led to her current emergency issue.
She needs to have an eye removed. As a result of her URI, her eye swelled up and the blood vessels burst. I've taken her to two emergency pet hospitals and one specialist. They all agree the eye needs to be removed asap before it pops in her head. We've already spent over two grand on her appointments and medications just all in one week. We live paycheck to paycheck as is. She's a fighter though. Besides the ping-pong swollen eye, you'd never really know she was sick. We refuse to give up on her when she clearly wants to live.
We know about Birchbark. A year ago both the adult males we had taken in ended up having severe urinary blockages. (They were brothers) Birchbark was amazing but they only help you twice.
Estimates from her vets available on request. Just ask. If you know a vet that can help please let us know.
