Help Us Keep a Roof Over Our Boys’ Heads
Four months ago, my life changed when I was assaulted at work by two coworkers. Out of fear for our safety, my husband and I made the hard decision to relocate with our two little boys (ages 4 and 2) to Douglasville to start fresh.
We came here hopeful, expecting new jobs and stability, but things haven’t gone as planned. My husband’s job onboarding has taken much longer than expected, and in the meantime we’ve both been out of work. With no steady income, we’ve fallen behind on rent, which keeps climbing, and now we’re facing eviction.
Our greatest fear is that our boys will end up without a safe place to call home. We’re doing everything we can to get back on our feet, but right now we need help.
