Help a Single Mom Keep a Roof Over Her Children’s Heads
My daughter is a hardworking single mother who has always done everything she could to provide for her family. She has never been one to ask for help, but she is facing a crisis that she cannot overcome alone.
After the company she worked for began struggling financially, she lost her job through no fault of her own. She quickly found new employment, determined to keep moving forward, but her new job pays far less than what she was earning before. Despite cutting every expense possible, she simply cannot keep up with rent, utilities, childcare, and transportation.
She is now facing eviction and is at risk of losing the car she depends on to get to work and take her child to school and appointments. Without reliable transportation, she could lose the very job that is helping her rebuild.
As her father, it is heartbreaking to watch this happen. I am disabled and living on a fixed income, so I am unable to provide the financial support she desperately needs. If I could help her myself, I would.
