Hello everyone, it is with sadness and some embarrassment that I come before you today asking for help because I am a very private person, but I have been having one of the worst experiences in my life. Please excuse the graphic photos but I want people to have an idea of what has been taking place. I have been diagnosed with a very chronic large venous stasis ulcer on my leg and am in the process of having a wedge biopsy to see if Pyoderma Gangrenosum...an inflammatory skin disorder may be present as well. I am also a heart patient which makes this even more difficult to deal with because my lymphatic system is affected and compromised tremendously. It is extremely excruciating, causes extreme edema, lymphedema, and neuropathy. It is debilitating and has caused me to be between home health care, hospitalization and have had surgeries 12 times between mid 2024 and January of this year. I have been unable to do my normal activities in the same manner, needed a caregiver most times, and unable to work full-time while on home health care. This has caused a serious financial burden because the healing process is extremely slow and grueling. I would press to work and a couple of weeks after I would be down again due to the nature of my work. My health insurance at times does not cover the amount of supplies/medicines that I need...in the time that I need them. This causes me to have to suffer the possibilities of infection to the wound and could essentially cause amputation or worse ...death by way of sepsis. I am currently trying very hard to keep my home but am on the verge of losing it. I do not have any help except my daughter who has had to completely change her life around to assist me in every area that she could. I have depleted my emergency funds that were in reserve to take care of the house, utilities, medical supplies, medicine, and basic every day needs. I have already lost my vehicle last year. Local assistance programs are depleted and cannot assist at this time. I am asking with a sincere heart if the Lord moves on your heart to help me that you would if you can. I have served many others for over 40 years in my field when I was able up until last year through my job, ministry and non-profit organizations and I am hoping that someone would help me now that I am on the other side of things. I have been told that this condition is expected to go on for many more months, maybe years because wounds like this do not just close immediately but I am believing God for the miraculous! I am doing everything that I can do personally to heal from the inside out. I am asking for help to be able to cover my past due rent to save my home with all that's going on medically. I'm selling items out of my home as well to continue to help myself. I want people to understand that even through the pain I am pressing to get things taken care of as best I can. I extend my sincerest thanks in advance to anyone who will assist. Your help will mean the world to me and would alleviate the extra stress that is keeping me from focusing on my healing. I just need a hand up to get back to my regular monthly payment. I was just not able to get it caught all the way up. It would be life changing for me and if I had a million tongues, I couldn't thank you all enough. I would be truly grateful and pray that the Lord would bless and favor everyone that will have a heart to help someone else and when I am completely well, I promise to continue to go back to assisting others in the same fashion.
