Bread and Puppet Theater is bringing their Fall Circus Tour to Oklahoma City on Saturday, October 18th, and your support is needed!
Presented by a group of local volunteers, your support of this grassroots campaign helps cover the necessary costs of the performance including: artist fees, marketing, venue costs, permits, supplies, and hosting the artists during their only stop in Oklahoma!
We recommend a donation of $20 or more for admission to the event. Â Because we are so close to the event, we will not have time to reply to your donation, therefore, we will have your name at the will call area with the number of tickets:Â
$20 - $39 = 1 Ticket
$40 - $59 = 2 Tickets
$60 - $79 = 3 Tickets
$80 - 99 = 4 Tickets.Â
(You get the idea).Â

Hello Everyone!
On behalf of our local OKC host group for the Bread and Puppet Circus, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support youâve shown in helping us bring these amazing artists to Oklahoma! Every time a new donation arrived on our SpotFund page, we were genuinely thrilled â thank you so much!
As the big event approaches, we wanted to share some important details to help you find the venue and know what to expect on the day.
Venue Location:
The Will Rogers Amphitheater is located in Will Rogers Park near the northwest corner of 36th and Portland. To get there, take Pat Murphy Drive off Portland (just south of 36th Street). Youâll pass the OKC Tennis Center, and the amphitheater is situated just south of the parking lot. Look for signs on the fence and the distinctive Bread and Puppet school bus at the entrance. Additional parking is available to the east of the amphitheater, but please note that parking on the grass is not allowed.
Check-In & Merchandise:
Upon arrival, please check in at the will-call table. If your sponsorship included OKC commemorative art prints or T-shirts, your items will be waiting there, clearly labeled with your name.
We also have a limited number of extra T-shirts available for purchase at $30 each. Payment options include cash, Venmo, CashApp, or donations through our SpotFund page.
Event Schedule:
Pre-show music will begin around 4:40 PM. Gates will open at 4:00 PM to give everyone plenty of time to get settled. We expect a large crowd, so we encourage you to arrive before 4:30 PM if possible. The performance will begin at 5:00, running approximately 75 minutes. Following the performance, the Bread and Puppet crew will serve their sourdough bread with aioli and facilitate the Cheap Art Sale.Â
Facilities & Seating:
Please note, there are no restrooms directly at the amphitheater. The nearest restrooms are inside the tennis center, and a single port-o-let is located about a 3-minute walk east of the entrance.
The amphitheater, built in the 1930s as a WPA project, features sandstone rows without handrails on the steps leading down to the stage. Youâre welcome to bring blankets or cushions for comfort. If you bring chairs, we kindly ask that you sit further back to avoid blocking the view of others.
Accessibility:
Accessible parking will be available near the front entrance. Reserved seating areas for wheelchairs will be clearly marked, and seating near the front of the stage is reserved for individuals with limited hearing or vision. If you have any specific accessibility needs, please reach out to us at breadandpuppetokc@gmail.com
What Not to Bring:
-
Glass bottles or containers
-
Tobacco products (smoking and vaping are prohibited in the park)
-
Pets, except certified service animals
-
Large coolers that take up seating space
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone. Please be considerate of older adults and those with mobility challenges. Letâs also take care of the park by properly disposing of trash.
If you know of others that wish to attend, they can still donate through Spotfund or do so upon arrival at the event.Â
We canât wait to see you there for a magical day of art, performance, and community!
With gratitude,Â
The OKC Bread and Puppet Host Team
