Local Pastors, Brian and Melissa Klassen, are in Desperate need of a Vehicle. Unfortunately, two weeks ago their only vehicle, which they both shared, broke down and is no longer repairable. Please donate what you can to help support them as they would help support each and every one of us if they were given the opportunity to. They are obedient to God’s will, and they need a vehicle that will help provide reliable transportation to everything by which they are involved in. Please read on to learn more about them and their involvement in ministry and decide from your heart what you can give, it’s time for us to step up and help to bless them, since they have done so much for there community and the communities surrounding them.

From 2020 to 2023, Pastors Brian and Melissa Klassen, lived in Grover Beach, Ca as Assistant Pastors for Resonate Hope Church of God.  Suddenly they heard and felt the calling of God to return to the valley and become Senior Pastor’s in Wasco, Ca.  Two weeks later, they moved and relocated to the City of Wasco where they fell in love with the community as a whole, not just limited to Wasco, but also the surrounding cities including Shafter, Delano, and Bakersfield. They are now the Senior Pastors of Living Hope Church of God in the city of Wasco, Ca. They do not think of their church as a congregation but family.  Their family- congregation holds services on Tuesday evenings for their Hope and Recovery Program and on Wednesday nights bible study in addition to weekly Sunday morning sermons.  Their goal is to “Go, Teach and Baptize:” Matthew 28:19-20.  They confidently feel within their hearts, they were sent for the broken.  The calling was placed on there hearts to move here, and the minute they met the people they fell in love, and have sacrificed and dedicated so much of there time to the Wasco, Shafter, Delan, and Bakersfield Communities.

Pastor Brian A. Klassen has been in ministry for over 18 yrs.  He was raised with a Pentecostal faith background.  At a young age, he felt the calling of God over his life and was called to serve in ministry.

His service to the church began early, and he began serving in church as a children's Sunday School Assistant in the valley.  By his early 20’s, he was teaching Sunday school for the youth.  Brian attended C.O.S. for his college degree in Communications.  He then went on to pursue his ministry education at Lancaster Bible College where he received his Bachelor of Theology in Pastoral Counseling. He has had the privilege of going to Mexico and the Philippines for missionary work in helping build schools and churches and spreading the word of God. Currently, he is working on his MDIV in Spiritual Foundation. And he is a chaplain for the City of Wasco Police Department where he has the opportunity to assist in counseling not only victims in traumatic situations, but also police officers. For the past six years he has worked in the area of mental health and is currently working Full-time as a supervisor at a drug and alcohol center in Bakersfield California.

Brian Klassen’s wife, Melissa Klassen, co pastors with her husband Brian.  She also has a background of Pentecostal faith.  Melissa hosts a women’s group (Devoted Women’s Discipleship) from their home for the past 2 1/2 years. She is the teacher for their children’s church ministry and a part of the Worship Team. Melissa currently attends Patten University Ministry College where she is receiving her AA degree in Biblical Theology, in which she has completed courses of Cross Cultural Evangelism, Gospel of the Kingdom, and Planting and Developing Healthy Churches.

Pastors Brian and Melissa Klassen have been married now for seven years in May of 2025. And they share four adult boys together. They are blessed with twelve grandchildren. Their family is “a close knit family” and believe in traditional “family nights” together which includes talking about God, Faith, family issues, watching movies, playing board games and building memories together.

You can see how much Pastors Brian and Melissa have done and continue to do. How much they have sacrificed to be here and do Gods will, which they do happily and humbly. They keep busy taking care of everyone and will drop everything to come and pray and minister with you whether your 2 minutes away or 40 min away. They need a Car to continue to do Gods work, and I know as a community we can come together and make this happen for them.

Thank you for your time and your donation and may God bless you 🥰
