I've got several issues with my back that started while I was in the Air Force. I've had x-rays and CT scans. My pcp started with a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. After seeing the CT scans he changed the referral to a neurological surgeon. They want a MRI before they see me to determine the best course of action. My insurance won't cover it because I haven't had 6 weeks of pt. The cost of the test is over $5000. I have a family and I don't have that kind of money laying around and I am having a hard time working with these issues. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
