An Update on Lilith 💔🐾

I never imagined I would have to write this update.

After everything we tried and all the prayers, Lilith unfortunately did not make it.

I am completely heartbroken. Lilith was so much more than a dog to me. She was my family, my companion, and a huge part of my life. I would have done anything to save her, and I did everything I could to get her the care she needed.

When she was hit by a car, I knew I couldn't just give up on her because I couldn't afford it. I made the decision to use the money I had set aside for my rent to pay her veterinary bill so she could receive the emergency care she needed. I would make that decision again in a heartbeat because she was worth fighting for.

Unfortunately, I am now left with a veterinary bill of more than $1,500 and no rent money to replace what I used. I am asking for help, not because I want to profit from this tragedy, but because I am facing a very real financial hardship after doing everything I could for my girl.

I know we were hoping to raise money to bring Lilith home and help her recover. Sadly, that is no longer possible. Now, I am simply trying to take care of the financial burden left behind while I grieve the loss of my girl.
