Our 8-year-old is slowly losing her hearing. Before the sound of childhood fades away, we want to give her one unforgettable experience! One of her biggest dreams is to experience Disney like everyone else does.
There are some many things we take for granted every day. From the sound of rustling leaves in the fall to an everyday conversation with friends. Our sweet girl can only hear these things with the help of hearing aids. The Doctors can't give use a clear timeline as to when or if she will lose her hearing completely.
Though all the hard times she still is one of the happiest kids in the world. Recently, she has starting learning sign language "just in case". Watching her prepare for something so big and life changing with a smile on her face has been both heartbreaking and inspiring.
We are hoping to take her to Disney World - a place filled with music, characters, lights and pure childhood magic. We want her to experience the sounds of Main Street, laughter on the rides, the fireworks, and the joy of being a carefree 8-year-old before her world changes more.
This isn't just a vacation for her.
It's about making memories she can hold onto forever.
It's a celebration of her strength and resilience.
It's about giving her something magical during a season that feel uncertain.
