Hello Family and Friends. As most of you already know, I lost my dog Ellie Mae to cancer just a little over 2 months ago. I did not know she was sick nor did she show any symptoms until it was too late for me to help her. Her loss after 12 loving years has left a hole in my heart and in my home. π Her sister Gracie and I are trying to adjust to a new routine without her.
About 3 weeks ago, after comforting Gracie during a thunderstorm, I found a lump near her shoulder blade. π« My heart sank and panic set it. Not Gracie too! πππ After getting it tested, Gracie was diagnosed with a rare ,malignant cancer. Neoplasic subcutaneous carcinoma. We visited the Animal Cancer and Imaging Center in Canton yesterday. Gracie’s best course of action is surgery. They cannot tell me anymore about the cancer until the tumor is out and tested by pathology (MSU). At this point we pray that it is encapsulated and no other treatment will be needed afterward. ππ»
This cost is more than I can handle alone. Gracie deserves a fighting chance. π I ask that if you could help at all -it would be so appreciated! Any and every little bit helps. If you cannot, I understand and just ask that you say a prayer for Gracie and share this post with your loving family and friends. Thank you from the bottom of my heart β€οΈ. Gracie loves you all. β€οΈ

We will find out after the results are in to see if Gracie needs any follow up care. Thank you all from the bottom of heart. β€οΈ
