Tessa is a 7 year old little girl diagnosed with a genetic disease called Batten Disease. She has lost her vision, mobility and is non-verbal and suffers from seizures. She has been struggling with some dementia type symptoms lately. She wakes in the middle of the night confused about where she is. Any sort of transition is very stressful for her. We have been thinking that a therapy dog might be helpful in calming her and comforting her. If you would like to donate to our efforts to get a therapy dog we would be forever grateful!
