Al Rouh Care Team
In Gaza today, accessing life-saving medication is often more difficult than enduring the illness itself. Years of blockade, the collapse of medical infrastructure, and the ongoing humanitarian crisis have left hospitals overwhelmed, pharmacies depleted, and families forced to search endlessly for basic treatments that elsewhere are taken for granted.
Chronic illnesses go untreated. Acute conditions turn fatal due to delays. Parents walk from pharmacy to pharmacy with prescriptions they cannot fill. For many, the healthcare system no longer functions as a system, it survives only through fragments, improvisation, and human determination.
Al Rouh Care Team was created to respond to this reality.
How does it work?
Families fill out the google request form for medication assistance. The team will review the cases and source difficult to find, expensive or medication not available in the free local hospitals and contact the family for pickup.
“Al Rouh” means the soul. We chose this name because medical care in Gaza is no longer just clinical, it is deeply human. Families place their souls, their hopes, and their dignity into the hands of caregivers and community responders. Our team carries that responsibility with reverence.
Al Rouh Care Team provides direct medical assistance by sourcing and funding medications for families in Gaza through a trusted, verified network on the ground. Each case is carefully reviewed, verified, and supported with compassion and accountability. Whenever possible, payments are made directly to pharmacies to ensure transparency and immediate access.
Our Gaza-based team members do more than coordinate logistics. They listen. They verify. They follow up. They ensure that care is delivered with respect; not as charity, but as solidarity.
We recognize the sacred trust between those who need help and those who provide it. This work is carried out with mutual respect, discretion, and dignity, honoring the resilience of families who continue to survive under impossible conditions.
Al Rouh Care Team stands in the space where systems have failed but humanity remains. Through this project, we aim to restore not only access to medication, but a sense of care that honors the soul of every person we serve.
