Hi! My name is Katie and Rick is my dad. I have no idea how to go about this. I never thought I would be in this position, but I am willing to do anything I can to help my dad. My dad has recently been diagnosed with bladder cancer . I am still in shock, but time is of the essence so here we are. My dad has health insurance but the treatment plan he is pursuing is considered holistic and unfortunately, nothing is covered. He has opted out of doing chemo and/ radiation for now, so he is doing everything natural as possible. Treatment includes infusions after infusions, red light therapy, HBOT treatment, high dosage of Vitamin C treatment as well as lot of blood work being done. All of the tests and appointments are very expensive, as he goes a couple times a week. He is still working full time as well. Unfortunately, his goal to be treated in AZ just can't happen due to the price.
A little bit about my dad. He is a big Buffalo Bill's fan, he is an excellent cook, and in my mind (and probably his) he's Larry Bird. Most importantly, he's a Christian. He has taught me so much in life, and continues to do so. He is an incredible father to my sister and me, and a wonderful "Pop Pop" to his grandsons. He's a fighter in every sense of the word. Prayers, and any help towards his fight would be appreciated. ❤️
