After a year and a half on a heart transplant list, Landon has been moved into Seattle Children's hospital on status 1A.
In the evening on January 13th he recived a call that they had a match.
Surgery is set and he has a long road ahead as the journey continues and he heads back to the ICU to recover.
We are so greatful for all the prayers and donations anyone feels called to give.
Landon was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and has had 3 open heart reconstructive surgeries. He has done well until 2021 when doctors started to talk about concerns with damage to his liver that was caused by the heart not pumping hard enough.
He was listed for a heart transplant August 30th 2023, and was able to stay home while he waited. Unfortunately the concern for the liver continues and he potentially would need a liver transplant as well if damage continues. Because of these concerns and knowing it could be another year waiting, Landon was checked into Seattle Children's hospital January 7 to wait in the hospital and moved up to status 1A.
