Stephen “Buck” Bowman of Greenville South Carolina went to be with the Lord in the early hours of Sunday, April 26.
Buck was born in Anniston Alabama on July 14, 1967 but he spent most of his life in Greenville where he became a well-known and respected member of the community. He loved riding his motorcycle, telling terrible dad jokes, and he had an incredible zest for life.
Clearly his love language was “service for others.” Buck was very active in the community. He was the hard-working guy that we all relied on when we needed help – assisting people he knew (and those didn’t know) with carpentry projects, plumbing, construction, and many other types of repair work. Never for money -- all Buck asked in return was that you keep Maxwell House Coffee in your cabinet, Corona Zero in your fridge, and join him from time-to-time for a shredded chicken quesadilla at his favorite Mexican restaurant.
In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing an account to help cover the funeral expenses and to provide short-term assistance for Nikki, Addison, and Grayson.
