Amelia is my youngest child. She is 5 of 5 and 6 years old. Very recently, her mother and I have ended our relationship. That's ok. Amelia has been with me in our home of four years. It is early and things have gotten a bit ugly but the worst is still in front of us.
I have provided for a family of 6 (the ex and her children included) for almost 8 years. Amelia suffers from seizures and more recently been diagnosed with precocious puberty. The latter means that she has entered puberty at 6 years old and if it isn't halted she could have stunted growth.
I am working with fathers advocacy group called Family Court Direct. They work with dads specifically in situations where they cannot afford legal representation. I have had lengthy discussions and have paid to get the ball rolling so that I can continue to have Amelia with me and out of a bad place.
Over the last few days I've shared more about my life than I cared to. Anyone who knows me knows that my children are my life. Doing this will put a strain on keeping our home and up on bills. I've said to anyone that will listen that I will do anything for my children. That includes setting my pride aside.
I cannot imagine a world where she isn't with me. I want her to be here and this is where she wants to be.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
