Help The Dude Get the Surgery He Needs
Hi everyone,
This is The Dude, my sweet toy poodle and best little buddy. He’s been through a lot lately, and I’m reaching out because he urgently needs surgery that I can’t cover on my own.
After a recent grooming appointment, we discovered that one of The Dude’s anal sacs had burst and another was about to rupture. On top of that, he has a tumor on one of the sacs that needs to be removed. He’s in discomfort, and waiting isn’t an option—infection and further complications are real risks if this isn’t addressed soon.
I’ve taken him to a specialist (Inland Empire Veterinary Surgical Specialty) and am working to get him scheduled for surgery as quickly as possible. The procedure will involve removing the affected anal sacs and the tumor, along with proper care to manage the infection and support his recovery. As a small dog, he needs an experienced surgeon so we can keep the risks as low as possible.
I’m doing everything I can—looking into payment options, applying for assistance, and cutting costs wherever possible—but I still fall short of what’s needed. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward The Dude’s surgery, medications, and post-op care.
The Dude is such a loving, playful little guy who brings so much joy to our home. I just want to give him the best chance at a comfortable recovery and many more happy years.
