Help Brian, His Wife, & Skyla Recover After a Terrifying Car Accident
Hi everyone,
My name is Lacie, and I’m setting up this fundraiser for some very dear family friends of mine, Brian, his wife Chrystal and their 8-year-old daughter, Skyla.
On their way back home to Kyle, Texas from a family reunion in Branson, Missouri, Brian and Skyla were caught in a severe storm. The roads were slick, and their truck hydroplaned, hitting a guard rail. The impact knocked Brian unconscious, and the truck veered across the median, crossed the opposite highway, and flipped into a ditch.
It is an absolute miracle that they didn't hit any other vehicles, but they didn't walk away completely unscathed. Brian suffered a cracked right rib, and Skyla has a bruised arm. They were rushed to the hospital, and thankfully they are now home recovering, but their truck was completely totaled.
Why This Family Needs Our Help
If you know Brian, you know he is one of the hardest-working guys out there. He runs a mobile automotive technician business. He’s the guy who drives directly to his customers to fix their cars on the spot, and he’s built a reputation in our community for being incredibly honest, transparent, and reliable. If you call Brian, he shows up.
But right now, Brian can't show up for work. Because his business relies entirely on his truck, losing his vehicle means he completely loses his ability to earn a living. Between his physical injuries and having no work vehicle, he is forced to take the next couple of weeks or a month off.
While Chrystal is doing everything she can to take care of Brian and Skyla during their recovery, the sudden loss of Brian's income is hitting the household hard. The bills are already starting to pile up, and the financial stress is putting a massive strain on the whole family. Brian is incredibly proud and didn't want to ask for help, but as their friend, I want to take some of this weight off their shoulders.
