Everyone knows him as “King Don” he has work many city event, community charity at this time he down. He was diagnosed with thyroid cancer November of 2022 after surgery he got back on that corner making his honest mean of living. He work hard rain or shine he at that corner of Sunoco a shepherd. New owner he was told to move to the back. He did. Business has declined but he still smile and get out there and pull that smoker and vending truck. But he contacted Covid an he’s sick. We paid a 2,500 deductible to have the thyroidectomy last $800 was due the day of the surgery. Now he can’t follow up because stating he owe the same $ 800+  we paid Bartow Hospital before we could walk back to have the procedure. I had a zpak and prednisone I have his wife and he’s talking it a positive Covid test has stop all income. We have an eviction notice. We lost our car. But my husband is still sick with Covid as I type. I work but it’s hard I pay 800 a month for health insurance. But can’t afford the follow up treatment to see if the surgery worked. We in need of financial, spiritual and emotional help the 6,000 would pay our housing expenses to get us through this storm. We had our lights turned off,  but as a man he’s suffering because he’s sick and he can’t work. I am his wife. I work at Watson Clinic as a Dermatologist Technician. I lost my car. I drive a 1996 mercury that we’ve had since we’ve been married 20+ years.  I’ve borrowed 400 $ from a coworker/ friend and 150$ from a friend. And my sister from another mother help pay my bills.
