This my GrandKitty Onyx Ann, we just found out that she has a condition called pyometra which means she has a lot of pus and white blood cells in her uterus. Onyx Ann is my daughter’s emotional support pet. During Covid my daughter was recovering from a traumatic brain injury and I had to travel to work to support my family at that time. I had two minors at home and two in college. It was very hard for my daughter and Onyx really brought her through. If we lost her now it would be devastating.
The first place told me the surgery would be $3000 after I had already spent $250 just to find out what was wrong. But there is a veterinarian place in Lebanon, Indiana that says that they can do the surgery for anywhere between $300-$700 just depending on the nature of what might need to be done. I am a mother of five I support three of my five children and I truly just live paycheck to paycheck. After my mandatory bill, there is very little left over. And due to some circumstances, not particularly in my control, I don’t have much of a savings. Anything that you could do to help would be greatly appreciated. I have no problem with showing you the paperwork the doctor gave me or even showing you where The other office has given us an appointment for Monday morning. I want to be completely honest they gave me an antibiotic to give her to hopefully stop the swelling and the infection and there is a possibility that she may not make it till Monday but if she does, if you all could please help me so that I could get my baby her surgery I would really appreciate it.
