Hello, my name is Ahshaki, and I’m creating this Spotfund to help fund a personal journey that I have been planning, researching, and looking forward to: keratopigmentation eye-color surgery.
What Is Keratopigmentation?
Keratopigmentation is a procedure that changes the appearance of the natural eye color by introducing pigment into the cornea. Unlike colored contact lenses, the procedure is designed to create a long-lasting change in how the color of the eyes appears.
For me, this is a very personal cosmetic decision and something I have taken seriously. I understand that any procedure involving the eyes requires careful consideration, appropriate medical screening, and a thorough understanding of the potential benefits, limitations, risks, recovery process, and long-term follow-up.
My goal is not only to undergo this transformation but also to document my entire experience from beginning to end.
Why I Want to Document My Journey
When I first became interested in changing my eye color, I had so many questions.
What does the consultation involve?
What does the procedure actually feel like?
What do your eyes look like immediately afterward?
How long does healing take?
Does the color change during recovery?
What are the difficult parts that people don’t always talk about?
And most importantly—how do you feel about the decision once everything is finished?
I want to document the answers to those questions through my own real-life experience.
I plan to share my journey from the preparation stage through my final results, including:

I also want my documentation to be open and balanced. I don’t want to show only the exciting parts. If I experience discomfort, unexpected challenges, concerns, or complications, I want to discuss those honestly as part of my personal experience.
My journey should never be considered medical advice or a recommendation that someone else undergo the procedure. Anyone considering an elective eye procedure should speak directly with a qualified ophthalmologist or other appropriate eye-care professional about their individual risks and circumstances.
