18-year-old Damian Gomez was out working as a DoorDash cyclist when a reckless driver struck him in a tragic hit-and-run. The driver remains at large, and we are still waiting for justice to be served for this senseless act.
That evening, Damian’s mother was eagerly waiting for him to come home to discuss plans for a special Easter dinner he had been working so hard to help provide. As time passed and he wasn’t answering her calls, she grew worry. Tragically, Damian never made it home, leaving his mother devastated and his family forever changed.
Damian was a dedicated and loving son who stepped up to help support his single mother and contribute toward providing a meaningful Easter dinner for his family. His life was taken far too soon in a senseless act that has left his mother and two young siblings grieving an unimaginable loss.
Damian was a kind, hardworking young man with a bright future ahead of him. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled.
