I am writing this letter during one of the most difficult and challenging times of my life, in the hope of seeking help from a compassionate human being like yourself. I am an ordinary householder, currently living under severe financial hardship. At this moment, both my family and I have been forced to live in temporary, makeshift shelters without a proper home.
Our daily life is extremely difficult. Every time it rains heavily, water seeps through the tin roof, making it even hard for our children to sleep. When strong winds blow, parts of the roof are dislodged, sometimes creating a situation that even threatens our safety. It is truly unfortunate – the hardship of living without a proper home is beyond what words can express.
I am not asking for much. I am not looking for a beautiful or luxurious house for me or my family. All we need is a small, dry, and safe house where a mother, a father, and their children can live with peace of mind. Due to my very low income, building such a house remains a distant dream that may take years to realize.
Even my daily earnings are not enough to cover the essential expenses. Electricity bills, water charges, children’s school expenses, and even my own medical needs make it extremely hard to think of constructing a house. But living without one is equally risky.
The lack of a stable home has also seriously affected our children’s education. They cannot study in a calm and peaceful environment. The noise, heat, and water leaking through the roof deeply disturb their minds. I am sincerely fearful about their future.
The only hope I have is in the support of kind-hearted people like you. If you are able, whether through a government housing department, an aid organization, or even personal help, I humbly ask for a small contribution. It would mean the world to me.
Your help could truly transform the life of my family. If we had a house, I would feel more secure and stable. My children would have the opportunity to study in peace, grow with confidence, and build a better future. I pray every day that such a day may come within this year.
