Today, my friend Rosa ran to my house crying. Ice detained her husband.
Rosa and her husband are dear friends/neighbors, they are kind, quiet, loving, and incredibly hard-working people with Christian values. They put their 3 children and family first.
Rosa is now left without income and without a car. Her husband provided all, so while she finds a job, she needs emergency help to pay her rent, bills, and to buy groceries for her family.
I have known them for a few years now and they have never asked for help, in fact, they are mortified at the mere idea of charity, but I could not sit here with my arms folded without figuring out a way to help.
No contribution is too small.
