In the summer of 2017, I released my debut novel, Ancestral Majik. It is a book explaining how to honor your ancestors in unique and exciting ways. Instead of honoring them using old methods of out-dated African traditions, I channeled new information from the ancestral realms; new rituals; a catalog of diverse information about ancestor worship customs from around the world and information on how to connect your beloved ancestors to various gods and goddesses in mythology. I also explain how to create your own rituals to honor your ancestors and how to invoke their power and your own.
Since the release of my book, I've wanted to do more to honor my ancestors; not just the ancestors of my immediate family, but the indigenous ancestors who have lived throughout America's history. The show Lovecraft Country and it's depiction of the ancestors and magick really inspired me to set forth on my quest across America to perform magickal rituals to honor the ancestors who lost their lives in race riots similar to Black Wallstreet. I already perform my own rituals at home to honor my own ancestors but I feel as though I need to do more to honor the powerful ancestors who reside in the places that race riots were committed. The energy of these ancestors and these places need to be activated and I intended to do just that.
My goal is to visit as many places as possible where race riots have been committed and perform rituals honoring the ancestors that tragically lost their lives. But first I want to build a healing center in Cairo, IL.
Cairo, IL has a very special place in my heart because it is named after Cairo, Egypt. My love for Egypt and Egyptian mythology is everything to me! I can go on and on about Egypt and my love for it. Cairo, IL is a town where many racial riots have happened over the existence of the city. Many black ancestors have lost their lives in racial violence across America. Cairo, IL has a rich history, a rich black history just like Cairo, Egypt. I want to go there with black female psychics, communicate with the spirits of ancestors who have lived and died there and help them heal. I also want to connect to the land spirits and heal them as well because there are many Native American ancestors who have died that need to be acknowledged and healed as well as the land that has been abused and disrespected that now needs to be healed.
Cairo, IL is abandoned now and it is my dream to turn it into the black MECCA our ancestors tried to create for us many times in the past. I want to start with building a healing center in Cairo, IL as my headquarters to help jumpstart the city of Cairo again. My healing center will heal the people who have lived and died there and other black people who wish to help our people heal.
I need black female psychics to accompany me on my adventures. I wish to create a Priestress Clan of Black Goddesses and Queens that are eager to honor our ancestors and perform powerful and loving rituals to our ancestors who were killed in race riots across America but first starting in Cairo, IL.
