If you've ever had the privilege to be loved by a dog then you know that they deserve the best life possible because they'd never ask for it themselves.

They said put this dog down the surgery will be too much money and she might still lose her leg. Luckily the owner wasn't going to take that for an answer but she didn't know what to do so she relinquished this sweet pup to a person who has too big of a heart. After countless calls and chatting with several overbooked veterinarians, we found a group called Surgery 4 Pets. They have agreed to squeeze Lucky into a surgery spot on Valentine's Day. This group is going to give it their all to save this sweet girls leg. However that does come at a cost. We are asking for the price of a box of chocolates to help support Lucky's operation. $10, $20 whatever little amount you can offer will 💯 go towards Lucky's surgery.

Lucky will be up for adoption following her surgery. ❤️🐾

Georgia went off to her new family and home. She was so excited she walked right into her new house and plopped right down. Her new mommy dad and human brother greated her with lots of love, snuggles and toys. Georgia has Weekly appointments with a PT to get her to start using her leg again.  She has been improving so much and we know she is in the best hands with her new family. Have a blessed life Georgia girl and thank you for those of you who had seen a need and acted on it. You made a huge difference in this puppy's life and swelled the hearts of those of us doing this rescue. It's people like you that make this world a better place. God Bless!

10 days post op...

This sweetly lucky girl had PT today. Though her break is healing, her leg is still shorter than the rest and her foot has dropped during healing. At PT we have some new exercises and a brace to help bring her toe up. We are so hopeful for a recovery where she can use her leg. When I picked this seeet puppy up 2 weeks ago she was 26 pounds and today she weighed in at 36 pounds! She is going to be a very large dog! Even more reason why she needs this leg to work.

Other great news is that Lucky is now called Georgia and she is going to live with her new family on the 1st of March! Her new family
is a retired vet, his wife and their son. Georgia is going to continue  to get the very best care! We cannot thank all of you who have donated enough! Your hearts are so big! May God Bless each of you!

Thank you for all who have supported this sweet puppy so far! Lucky had surgery on Valentine's Day. It was much more extensive but the vets were able to save her leg for the time being. Some extra bone was added to the gap between the break along with 4 screws, a plate and a pin. Sweet Lucky girl is in a lot of pain. We are staying on top of her medication and icing her leg every few hours. She starts physical therapy next Tuesday. We have faith that she is and has been in the best hands
