My name is Zoe. I am an undergraduate in the University of Memphis, majoring through Journalism and minoring in fashion designing. I'm working toward my college education while building a future in creative storytelling and design.
I've been putting an effort into applying for scholarships, applying for jobs, writing essays, and doing everything I can to make this work on my own. Even with that, there's still a financial strain for my parents.
Balancing everything hasn't been easy. Some days feel overwhelming, and it can be discouraging trying to manage school, applications, and straining my parents with the finances all at once. I really want to do my best to try to help my parens release the burden upon their shoulders. I'm committed to this path, and I'm not giving up on my goals.
My dream is to build a career in creative media - telling stories, designing, and creating work that connects with people in meaningful ways. Going to college is a huge part of making that future possible.
