Dear friends, neighbors, and Bluff community members,
Our hearts are breaking for our dear friends, Sam and Melanie Weldon, the wonderful people behind Bluff Gardens in Bluff, Utah. Following the recent devastating natural disaster, their business was severely flooded, leaving them facing an overwhelming financial hardship.
If you know Sam and Melanie, you know how much they pour into the Bluff community. Bluff Gardens isn't just a beautiful vacation destination; it’s a wonderful part of the Bluff community.
The floodwaters have caused extensive damage to the building, structure, equipment, and inventory. While they are resilient, the financial burden of mucking out, sanitizing, repairing structural damage, and replacing everything lost is more than any small business can carry alone—especially since insurance rarely covers the full extent of natural disaster mud and flood damage.
Where your donations will go:
• Immediate cleanup: Professional water extraction, mold remediation, and debris removal.
• Structural repairs: Fixing flooring, drywall, and electrical systems damaged by the water.
• Replacing inventory & equipment: Buying back the essential tools and goods needed to reopen.
• Basic overhead: Helping cover essential bills while the doors are forced to remain closed and revenue is at zero.
Bluff is a small town with a massive heart. Let’s rally around Sam and Melanie the way they have always supported Bluff and their loved ones. Every single dollar counts, and no donation is too small. If you cannot donate at this time, please consider sharing this page with your network to help spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly challenging time.
We will keep you updated on the progress of the cleanup and rebuilding efforts right here.
With gratitude,
Kristina Miller
