Southern Thailand is drowning — and lives hang in the balance. We must act NOW.
Since November 19, 2025, a historic monsoon — the worst in 300 years — has unleashed unprecedented flooding across southern Thailand. Over ten provinces are submerged.
•The city Hat Yai alone saw 13 inches of rain in a single day — the highest rainfall it has recorded in three centuries.
•Over three days, the region recorded up to 28 inches of rain — shattering all past records.
•As a result: roads turned into rivers, power and water systems failed, hospitals and homes are underwater, and critical infrastructure collapsed.
Across southern Thailand, more than 1.9 – 2.1 million people have been affected so far.
Tragically: at least 13 lives have already been lost; many more families are facing devastation: homes destroyed, livelihoods lost, children and elderly stranded, no clean water, food, or medical access.
This is not just a flood. It’s a humanitarian emergency.
