"Andi's Spaghetti Shack"
Andi Wilson was a free spirit, she loved with all her heart and she was passionate about the things she loved and saw beauty in. By far one of the most extraordinary human beings you could ever meet.
2 years ago she shared her hopes and dreams with me, the most important one being :The Spaghetti Shack" .... she not only shared her thoughts about it with me but she welcomed me into it and let me have a role in making it reality and making it succesful. It allowed her, kylie and myself to see what our futures looked like if we went after what we wanted and made it happen . Thats when we decided to move to St. George Utah... for a fresh start. We seemed to all be stuck in a rutt in SLC before making this move. We found that St George was a happier place, more comfortable, safe, secure. It was exactly what was needed to pick ourselves up and to lift our spirits again. We found our HOME here. And its beautiful.
On March 22, 2022 Andi woke up with a really bad headache. She couldnt even hardly get out of bed. Kylie (her daughter) and myself (Skye Mackinnon) asked her multiple times to let us take her to the hospital to get it checked out. She refused to go . and instead went and laid down. At approximately 1pm she suffered what seemed to be some sort of seizure.... and then wasnt breathing afterward. Even though we all did everything we could to revive her... as per the instruction of the 911 operator... we both knew at that moment that she was no longer with us. She suffered a very serious hemmorage in her brain, that ruptured and took her almost instantly.
Now, its Kylie and me . We are trying to pick up the pieces and trying to get used to life without her mom, and without my best friend. Some days are so hard and hurt like hell . Other days all we want to do is work our butts off on the plan for the Spaghetti Shack like shes still here and we havent missed a beat.
Now, more than ever we have to persue our dream for the business. We feel that its our purposed still and that even if Andi isnt here physically ... shes still with us and still counting on us to follow through. The vision Andi had to the business is our vision now too. We want to make it match what she dreamt of perfectly. So that Andi can be proud of us and most importantly so she doesnt have to worry about her daughters future now that shes gone.
Friends and Family, we're reaching out to you guys for any help and love you can show us in making this possible for Andis dying wish and for Kylies future. We are struggling with the funds to move to the next step after this unexected tragedy... but will do whatever it takes to make it perfect and to make Andi proud. She was an incredible person and friend to everyone. She touched the lives of everyone that crossed her path and her heart was bigger than anyone ive ever known. Helping people is what she lived for and now we want to show how thankful we are for her and how blessed we are for the time we did get with her. Anything that any of you can do to help is seriously appreciated and would mean everything to us. You would be a part of something so special too; just like Andi. She truly was such a special person.
Andi , we love you . And we promise we wont stop til we have "Andis Spaghetti Shack" just like we planned. its going to be perfect!
