Battle Bus Ministries is a Wisconsin 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing hope, practical support, and faith-based care to military members and their families.
During our recent visit to the 128th Air Refueling Wing in Milwaukee, we met Airmen returning from deployment carrying wounds that were not always visible. Some have sustained traumatic brain injuries, facing PTSD, and the emotional weight of what they experienced overseas. We have been asked to return regularly because these men and women need more than a single visit—they need trusted people who will continue showing up. This is just one of many military location we serve in Wisconsin.
We desperately want to be there for them, but the cost of operating our battle bus for frequent long-distance trips has become unsustainable. With diesel costing us roughly $7 per gallon, transportation expenses are limiting how often we can respond when a military unit, service member, or family needs help.
Battle Bus Ministries urgently needs a Ford Transit Passenger Wagon T-350. This 15-passenger van would double our transportation capacity and provide a dependable, fuel-efficient way to carry our team, supplies, and military families to our Christian retreats, Bible studies, and outreach events across Wisconsin.
We are respectfully asking you to consider making a donation towards this van for Battle Bus Ministries. The vehicle is currently listed through Bergstrom Ford of Neenah for $63,877.
This would be so much more than a donation toward a vehicle. It would allow us to sit beside a service member who feels forgotten, strengthen a family struggling under the weight of deployment or trauma, and reach someone before isolation and hopelessness take over. Your generosity could help us answer the next call instead of having to say that we cannot afford to go.
