Our family has been struck with devastating news. My mother-in-law, Jamie, was recently diagnosed with terminal, incurable bone cancer. As of 10/19/24, she has been placed on hospice care at home. At just 55 years old, Jamie is facing this with the same grace, love, and laughter she has always shared with everyone around her.
Her husband, Mark, is struggling with the weight of continuing to work through this difficult time, fearful of the financial strain that comes with taking time off. As a family, we want to ensure that Jamie’s final days are filled with peace, comfort, and the presence of her loved ones.
