My sweet cat Nova, who is FeLV+, has suspected cancer and her health has declined recently. I obtained a second opinion from a very trusted veterinarian and today he shared his opinion. He had been observing Nova for a few weeks in hopes of improvement but today he let us know that her and her quality of life was on the decline.
I took Nova in after someone posted her in a Facebook group. She was thin and very sickly. She’s been with my family from that moment on. This sweet girl has been through so much but the one persistent thing about her has been her capacity for love. Her tail quivers with excitement at the sight of her people, and she leans in for love any time we are close. She’s been a wonderful addition to our furry family and she is a cherished companion.
This fundraiser is to cover the cost of private cremation so we can have her with us always. She will be placed with all of the other pets and fosters we have lost in the past few years.
