I’m reaching out with hope and a heavy heart. This morning, my beloved dog Bandit was hit by a car. At just one year old, he’s still full of puppy energy and joy—the very spirit that brightens our home here in Mission, South Dakota. His hip is dislocated, and the vet says surgery is necessary to avoid amputation. The thought of Bandit losing a leg is heartbreaking. I’m determined to get him the surgery he needs to keep his infectious spirit intact.
Bandit’s birthday is July 26, and I remember so clearly bringing him home—his curious sniffs and playful antics quickly filled our lives with laughter. He’s not just a pet, but a member of our family, always greeting everyone with a wagging tail and bright eyes. It's hard to imagine our days without his cheerful presence. I appreciate any help you can offer to give Bandit the happy, healthy life he deserves.
