At 4 months old Princess Nokia began experiencing multiple seizures a day and was completely paralyzed. She was diagnosed with a 100% fatal disease (FIP) which we have been treating since beginning of September. She has had a miraculous recovery; in the span of 3 months she has gone from being on her death bed to not only surviving through this deadly disease but thriving too. Unfortunately, at the start of 2023 sweet Nokia was diagnosed with a UTI that developed into a kidney infection. Nokia has severe kidney stones in both kidneys, resulting in advanced kidney failure. Nokia requires surgery for any chance at survival, in addition to a blood transfusion, that alone is at least $15,000.
Nokia has been through more than most anyone will ever go through in their lifetime. From having kidney surgery and two blood transfusions to getting shots injected into her every 8 hours for 3+ months. Despite all odds being stacked against her, Nokia has pushed through each time. She enjoys chasing her blood brother, Dmitri, laying outside in the sun, stretching, playing with her favorite pink fluffy toy, and cuddling most every second she’s not occupied playing. Anything would help me to give Nokia a second shot at life after battling so hard to overcome her first illness.
