This is my first time trying to raise money for a friend in need. I don’t know where to start…I met this amazing family through my son’s soccer team over 7 years ago. They are kind, generous, selfless and so loving! The parents have sacrificed their lives to help their kids be successful. They drive all over town for practices, games and do whatever is necessary to support their kids!
I know that sounds like many of us but this is different. They come from a humble home and were greatly affected when one of their kids was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. This was a huge financial strain as well as an emotional one. But just like they always do, they took it on and learned all that they could about this disease and continued fighting.
Yesterday, the Dad, J had a stroke! He is still in the hospital. We are not sure when he will be able to go back to work nor when the Mrs, E will be able to work herself.
In the meantime, they have their boys that they need to provide for and already follow a pretty tight budget.
PLEASE PLEASE help in any way you can. Everything adds up and the smallest amount is greatly appreciated.

UPDATE
Juan has been back home for about a week. He was able to get evaluated by PT and OT and they are working with him twice a week. He has no mobility in his right hand/arm. The entire family has had to adjust to their new “normal”. Ester went back to work this week but only part time because she has to pick up the kids from school. She is hoping to go full time wince they are out of school for the summer.
With Juan not working, Ester only ably to work part time, and the added medical expenses, they are truly in need of financial help! Thank you for your donations. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.
