Mom and Dad were very big on education and the money you donate will be going into a College fund and will acrue interest for 17 years till she is 18 and graduated high school.

Please donate to a little girl who lost her daddy and this is what will be left as an 18th birthday present... Paid College. Thank you to everyone.

On May 22nd at Approximately 11:45 PM while driving home from a Dallas Mavericks game Michael lost his life due to a driver driving the wrong way on a high-speed freeway  (Hwy 45). the driver was presumed to be intoxicated with the headlights off. The driver before striking Michael had already caused another accident and before Police could do anything it was too late. Michael was doing what Michael does and taking two of his students to a Dallas Mavericks game. The father of one of the students had bought the tickets to help heal the pain of his son just losing his brother in a car accident just 2 weeks prior. Michael was the type of man who had everything that he ever wanted. At 28 he had a beautiful wonderful wife a 1-year-old little girl and just bought a home. He loved his job as a teacher/Coach at Palestine Junior High but if you were to ask him it wasn't a job it was a calling and a true passion. This was a special kind of man that would do anything you asked especially for his kids. the amount of support coming in just wanting to know how to help is astounding. The Dallas Mavericks even had a moment of silence in his honor at their next game. He would have loved that. Michael took the main force of the impact and because of it the two students are alive today and that would have been all he cared about.

Fortunately Michael Had life insurance and it was just enough to handle the day to day expeces such as home, car payment, etc. Wife Bethany will be ok there. However as his daughter grows up and will want things like cheerleader or basketball or homecoming things this will be expensive.
