9/25/2025-UPDATE; Chloe’s copper levels in her liver were more than 2 times what the toxic level is. She will need to be in d-penacillan for at least 6 months in large doses to clear out the copper. She will also need to undergo more lab testing in 4 months. We are still trying to raise funds needed. Elijah is contributing what he can of the 100.00 a month he receives as well as helping with RSD clients to assist in paying off the bills. PLEASE THINK OF EVEN A LITTLE BIT TO HELP AS HE AND CHLOE ARE LIKE PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY, They work really good together and Chloe has more than saved Elijah’s life.
9/18/2025- UPDATE: Chloe underwent a liver biopsy with special stain testing as well as a scoping of her bile ducts and was found to have an accumulation of copper in her liver. They now are running tests (more expense) to see how much and what her dose of meds will be for the next six months. All in all she is in good spirits and thinks she is all healed. She is so upset she cannot go with Eli to school for another week and cries every time he leaves or gets out of the car. She knows her job is with Jim and she is determined to do it.
Sep 10, 2025- The l cost for this procedure is $1900-2100.00 as well as almost 900.00 for the spaying due to the risks. We thank all who donated for the previous 1200.00 . The Biopsy had to be done immediately due to the increased liver function levels, twice what they were last time. She is also getting spayed at the same time. Please share this with as many people as you can.

The first hurdle is the ultrasound she needs, which was estimated to be $1,500-$2,000. We thank all who have helped and were able to get the ultrasound covered. The veterinarian also said she will need a biopsy in addition to further treatments and ongoing medications.
Chloe has done a fantastic job supporting her human, please help us return the service by providing her the support that she now needs.
