My in-laws woke up this morning after being up with the pug Beau all night and knew something was wrong. They rushed him to the vet where the began emergency treatment by placing him on oxygen and attempting to gain an IV. They were unable to get an IV, but his blood pressure and oxygen levels were dropping rapidly and they were trying to get him stabilized. After some monitoring the current vet decided they were unable to provide the care he needs and had to transfer him to another 24 hour care vet for further monitoring and treatment. So far it’s already costed over $6,000 and there’s no end in sight. They think he has aspiration pneumonia along with bronchitis and will require close monitoring over the next week. Unfortunately my mother and father in law are elderly and on a fixed income so anything you can give to help beau is very much appreciated. Beau is their entire world and not sure what they would do without him.
