My emotional support animal and best boy got his leg caught in my chair yesterday and broke the end off his femur getting down. After a long journey and a subsequent long wait at the hospital in Akron, we were faced with surgery or amputation.
He's six months old, and he's been so good for my own mental health, I didn't want to remove his leg, though it was significantly cheaper. I feel he does so much for me, he deserved to get better from this!
the surgery to fix his leg was over 4,000, and my grandma footed the bill, and if I could raise even half of that here, I would love to pay her back for helping me and my buddy without question or pause.
I am on a fixed income and though im making it my due diligence to pay her back for the surgery, I realize I will not be able to do so quickly if at all with my current situation the way it is.
