Hi, my name is Aubrey Elder and I want you to meet my mother, Cristi Burn Koch. She may seem beautiful on the outside, but nothing compared to her heart on the inside.

At 44 years of age, she was diagnosed with 4th stage invasive, infiltrative, inflammatory ductal carcinoma. This hasn’t stopped her from doing the things she loves, until this summer.

Her oncologist gave her 2 years, she’s on 6. But it hasn’t been easy. The cancer ravishes her skin with painful bloody ulcer like tumors.

It has come back 4 times. Just recently she had her 2nd double mastectomy, but this time they had to take her entire chest from right under her neck to rib cage.

Two weeks later she had 3 cancerous lesions on her back removed leaving her with a deep wide wound across her shoulders.

You would never know the suffering my mom has endured because of her positivity, pure faith in God, and the constant time she spends trying to help others. Through her tears comes a knock out smile and encouragement to all those around her. She uses social media to uplift others and teach them how to love God by loving and serving one another. See for yourself look up her Instagram getfit.fightcancer and Facebook

Below are pictures of her battle with cancer at treatments during the last 6 years. She is so positive trying to cheer those around her.

My whole life my mom has always given everything she could of herself to everyone with service and kindness and sharing her love for Jesus.

She gave me the best life even though it felt like the world was against her. She is the most giving person I know and I hate 🙈that she has to go through this.
My mother is a fighter 💪but small compared to the fight. She doesn’t have enough extra skin for grafts to cover both wounds. The chest alone would cost $9,000.00 and some times it takes up to 4 times, which is 36,000 and  her insurance will only pay $1400. The cancer has caused serious lymphademia in her right arm. Her insurance won’t pay for the medical arm sleeve she desperately needs.

Not only is my mother an angel 😇 but a teacher also, but because of cancer has not been able to continue teaching. The business her husband James, my loving step father owned for 35 years was lost during the covid epidemic. He’s worked so hard to start over at 54, but like most with the pandemic slow going. But the graft, medical bills, and taxes coming up on their home 🏡 are all needed now. They could really use some extra love, help and support. If anyone, anywhere could help donate to my Loving Angel mother, it would help her afford the graft, lymphadema sleeve, help with taxes and just give her a break she so desperately needs. Anything will help and I appreciate it so much!

Things haven't gone as well as I hoped for the recovery. The cancer seems to be stronger than my body's strength to fight. But, I know God is in it so I can say "Come What May and Love it." I know I can do much good as an angel 😇 on the other side, and I pray for that to come soon. I'm losing ability to do things every day. I look forward to getting a whole new body like our Savior promised. Because he overcame death, we can too! Love you all!
