In August 2025 Stephanie was blindsided and diagnosed with Breast Cancer. In September of 2025 she began her treatment journey starting with and completing 6 rounds (6 months) of Chemotherapy in January, in that time she was unable to work. Friends and family came together and threw her am amazing benefit to help her with financial distress and be able to give her daughter a Christmas which was successful 🩷
March of 2026 Stephanie under went her 1st surgery of a single right full mastectomy with successful recovery of the actual surgery, but then developed some neurological issues with her hands and fingers. Her hands and finger started to feel numb and tingling but we thought nothing of it and that it was just some nerve damage from her surgery. 3 months later it had still continued and is consistent with no feeling In her hands and fingers which is still currently causing her to have a hard time keeping a hold of things or feel things, which in term per her Oncologist wants her out of work until at least the end of her target therapy sessions in the end of September, and again has caused her more financial hardship.
Stephanie has also applied for short-term SSI Disability at the time of her diagnosis last year and has been denied twice so far, she is working with a lawyer but every denial is another wait.

August 17th 2026 my moms menstrual cycle started again after not having it for 1yr for being medically induced into menopause, by August 19th (I her daughter) had to call 911 for my mom and she was rushed to ER by ambulance because I heard her screaming then found her seconds of unconsciousness due to the immense loss of blood. After all and everything we have been through this was by far the most scariest and hardest thing to see.
So after testing, bloodwork and imaging they found something irregular on her uterus, which now requires another Biopsy 😔 and no matter what it comes back, with talk between her OB/ GYN and oncologist she will be moving forward with the recommendation of a complete and full hysterectomy 😢💔 which then again she will not be able to return to work until she is recovered and healed from that surgery.
I’ve watched my mom struggle the most she has ever struggled since I’ve been on this earth, she has barreled through what was/is the most hardest time of her life and while she’s struggling and feeling defeated she has still never missed a beat as fulfilling her motherly duties some how some way she ALWAYS figures it out. She doesn’t like asking for help or letting people know she needs help but I can’t take seeing her break everyday and stress on how is she going to pay this or pay that. I made a go fund me at the time of her diagnosis and unfortunately we didn’t get a hit on it and that’s ok, so I decided that I’m going to try again to help my mom! Because she needs help and she’s not going to ask for it so I am! Because I love my mom more than anything in this world and she is ALL I have as a parent! If I was old enough to work I would work so much just to help my mom. I’m sorry this is so long but I wanted to touch on as much as I could to help my mom.
So with that being said if you can help her in anyway it would be greatly appreciated, it doesn’t even have to be money it could be gift cards, gas cards as she still has millions of dr appointments to attend, or even just sharing to get her story out. I know it’s a hardship for the whole world right now so I am NOT expecting people to be able to help, but just getting her story out means just as much because I think this goes unnoticed a lot with cancer of any kind.
