The tradition of the Iconic shopping cart tree, has magic and wonder in the courtyard at Edgemar on Main street, Santa Monica.
Artist Anthony Schmitt has seen to the creation and installation for all these years, thanks to the support of the Tenants and The Main street Business, Improvement Association, neighbors of OPA, the Belden Family, and those who just enjoy an innovative holiday, that challenges the concepts of the season. We need additional support due to costs, and vacancies, the Pandemic, etc. So with your support, for this year and next...

The tree is over 31, feet high, made of 85 shopping carts, covered in lights and ornaments. It is the only tree of its kind. It was featured in the Smithsonian about the 7 unique trees in America. There is a small tree, near the parking, to let you know, you are almost to the Shopping cart tree.
