My best friend, my furry daughter, my support system. Duchess is only one and a half years old. The breeders we bought her from didn't test their dogs so she was born with chronic kidney disease. Usually it doesn't manifest until 5 years old, but our little girl got the short end of the stick. Her labs are terrible. We have her in the hospital right now on fluids and she will need dialysis. Then she can have a few good years with us! If everyone pitches in we hope we will be able to make it happen for her. Her big sister Nova and all of us appreciate any assistance!
